So I just got home from seeing Mamma Mia! I have loved ABBA songs since I was in high school and knew they had made a musical with the songs, but have never seen it or even heard what it was about. So I went into the theater knowing nothing, except all the words to the songs. I won't go all crazy saying how good it was or critiquing it because I hate it when people do that. It either totally builds it up for you and you come out disappointed, or they say it sucks and you don't want to see it anymore. Although, a couple people told me Indy was just okay and we went and totally loved it. So don't listen to everything you hear. So back to Mamma Mia! I will say though it is almost right on with the stage play and just as enjoyable, according to my sister in law who has seen it in Vegas. And I loved Meryl Streep in it. Man! Can she dance! I went with my sister in law, my niece and my mother in law. If you take your husband you will like it and enjoy the movie, but if you go with your girlfriends you will have a ball and come out dancing! I can't wait to see it again with my girlfriends! When are we going? I heard a rumor about Tuesday night. I'm in! Let's go! I want to get the soundtrack, but in the meantime my ABBA CD will do. P.S. Thanks Rachel! When we go, it's my treat!

Don't be silly Lisa. Kooy was great! Except for when Matt pulled up and Derek and Kooy proceeded to have their first fight of the day. (Sorry about the Lego blocks, Kooy). I am happy to watch him anytime...but I am excited to go on Tuesday with the girls...and I am seriously wanting to go to Wingers SOON!

Oh! Yes! I am going to see it on Tuesday with my mom and all four sisters! AND i already have the soudtrack! Mainly because I was thinking of using it for the music for my ballroom team this year. Not sure if i still will--it's pretty hard to cut. But I LOVE the music! It took watching The View to recognize that the main girl in it is the same one from Mean Girls. Dont' know why I didn't catch that...
I didn't know that either but now that you say it I totally do! She was the "dumb" one. I thought I'd never seen her before. She's like all growed up now.
Time for a "girls" night out to go see it. See you tomorrow!! Wingers...ANYONE? We can get it to go and go to the movies to!!
