A Beautiful Spring Day and a Glass of Milk.

So it snowed off and on all day today. It was so weird. It would be snowing like crazy one minute, then the next, sunny. Must be El Nino. The kids were amazingly uncooperative in taking these pictures. I am lucky I got them all looking at the camera. Especially Lizzie. I have enough pictures of her looking sideways to fill up a whole album. Maybe Uncle Dallon has been teaching her some tricks. I guess during all the fuss of trying to get them all in front of the window, facing me, and taking a picture, Lizzie took a drink. It was between photos. I could not get her to smile anymore. This is how it went.

Me: Lizzie, why won't you smile. I want to take a picture.

Lizzie: Staring at me.

Me: Lizzie, just smile.

Lizzie: I feel sick.

Me: You feel sick? You were fine a minute ago.

Lizzie: I took some drink.

Me: A drink? What did you drink?

Lizzie: That. (And pointed to a sippy cup full of milk that has been sitting on the table for at least 24hrs. probably more. I know. gross. I need to be a better house keeper. Anyway...)

Me: You drank THAT?!

Lizzie: Yes. (In a very sad cryie voice)

Me: Lizzie! That has been on the table since yesterday. Didn't you look at what you were drinking?

Lizzie: No. (In the same sad cryie voice)

I was really afraid I was going to have a vomiting child real quick, luckily she seemed okay and was fine a few minutes later. I would be sick too if I had just drank warm, clumpy milk. I am about to gag right now just thinking about it.
Before Milk.

After milk.

I love your stories. But don't think I'm here to comment on YOUR blog. I'm here to comment on your comment on MY blog. I have to clear this up. I made a typo. She didn't ask if Utah was a COUNTY, she asked if it were a COUNTRY. Yeah. Now it's even worse, isn't it?
