Blogger's Block

I am having Blogger Block. I pull up my blog everyday and can't think of one thing to blog. So, today...I am making myself write SOMETHING at least. This week I am babysitting my two nieces. They are visting Trent for the week. In January or February they moved to Arizona with their mom. It's fun to have them here. It's gets to be like they never left. Kooy is having a really hard time though. He has turned into a bully of sorts. He just walks up to one of them and hits them for no reason. He is used to getting a lot of attention and not sharing his mom. It's kind of funny to see him be mad for apparently no reason. He'll just sit there with his arms crossed with a mad look on his face. It's kind of cute but I feel bad for him too. The girls went to their grandma's house this afternoon so he's getting some one on one time. He'll be fine.

On Saturday we all loaded up the van and went garage saleing. It was our first time out this year. We got some pretty great shoes, Kooy got a football and a rocking horse type thing, and Matt got some golf clubs which he promises are "really nice." We spent $20. I love garage sales. They are the best. We had one last year with my mother-in-law's stuff and some of ours. We made like $150. Most of it was hers but we made like $50. The mexicans were our best customers. It's amazing. They pull up and just start loading up the car. They are hardly looking at the stuff. This one guy came...took a bunch of stuff and then came back on hour later and got somemore. Then our mexican neighbors across the way...the daughter and son came over. They ought this McDonald's play house thing. With all the plastic food and stuff. They were so excited wheeling it back across the street. Twice a year Sandy City does a pick-up day, where you can throw a bunch of junk on your curb and they come haul it away. The McDonald's play thing was in their pile and next time around. It was so funny! We were thinking..."Suckers! At least we got money for it."

Once I bought a "Hand Chair" for $5. I always wanted one all my life, so I bought it. It sat out on our back porch for a couple or years and then we sold it at our garage sale. I think we got our $5 back. I really need to go shower. It's way too late in the day to still be wearing my grubbies.

I love garage sales! They are my favorite. I found that if you go towards the end of that sale, although you may not have a great selection, they always give toys to your kids for free. In my opinion Bountiful has the best garage sales.

Lisa, do you think both of our boys are going to be bullies? At least they won't be able to push eachother around too much.
