Here's a flippin' post, okay?! Get off my back already.
I have been really busy this week. And not the usual "sitting around, reading a book, watching tv, keeping kids alive" busy either. We have been cleaning the house. I can generally keep my house picked up, but it's still really dirty. You know, like dusty, gross baseboards, dried up food on the cabinets, etc. So, we've been cleaning cabinets, cleaning walls, clearing garages, catching up on mountains of laundry.
Mom and Dad are coming for a visit. They get here tomorrow. I still need to clean inside of refrigerater, finish the last of the cupboards, wash the hallways and doors, work 4 hours at Curves, wash sheets, move beds, make beds, clean downstairs bathroom, and more laundry. Now that I think about it, I don't know why I'm letting Matt take the boys camping tonight. I could really use his help. Oh well. I know he'll hit it hard when he gets home tomorrow and we'll be ready just in time...like always.
Highlights since my last post:
- Kooy graduated preschool. We celebrated by going to Leatherby's and he got a throw/catchy net thing.
- We held a car wash and the kids earned $8. They washed five cars. I was impressed with their initative.
- Matt saw some young bucks near our home and took pictures.
- I had my last staff meeting with these ladies. We really should have had the waitress take it for us so Kathi could be in it too. These are wonderful women I have loved associating with.
I am quitting my job. It's time. I'm tired of the mindlessness of my work. I would like something a little more intellectually stimulating. Or I'll just get pregnant. I want two more kids and I'm not messing around anymore (or actually I will be....hee hee hee). I'm gonna have one, wait the recommended "six week" period, then go for it again. I want to get them here. I want them in our family and I'm not getting any younger and they can't all be three years apart anymore. So stay tuned for that craziness and to hear me rue the day I went ahead with this plan.
Are you happy now? And really, you are one to talk.
Love, Lisa
