Mommy Knows Nothing

I'm no expert. Just trying to do better today than I did yesterday.

Dear Leslie,

Hey. What's up? How are you doing? I'm doing good. I am pretty busy. But Matt says I just probably just need to change my perspective. Meaning, I'm really not that busy and I could probably get everything done if I just looked at it different. He's probably right. Like, three days a week I babysit a 6 month old baby for 5-6 hours. And then I work two days a week too. Taking care of him and my boys on those days, I pretty much do nothing else but keep them all alive. (keeping them from killing each other, feeding them, cuddling them when they get hurt by the other ones, yada, yada, yada) Then I complain I don't have time to do laundry, make dinner, keep my house livable, blah, blah, blah. But, yesterday, I managed to put away three loads of laundry and make dinner and keep three boys alive and relatively happy. I hate it when he's right.

You asked about Lagoon. Yes. It is open. But I wasn't going to mention it on my next blog post because when I went back and re-read my last three posts. I mentioned it EVERY TIME. I even got annoyed at myself and made a snide remark. But since YOU brought it up. We've gone once, last Saturday. And have plans to go again this Saturday. Here's is photographic evidence of a great time.

New, this decade, I am afraid of heights when I am riding with my children. I rode with Peyton on the way back and was almost having panic attack the whole way. I guess I think they are going to stand up and jump out or something.

Peyton rode this whale thing like 5 times.

Then we ran into our neighbors and Kooy went on a ride with them. The girl is McKayla Vance. The boy is Xelan Kinikini, Elder Kinikini's little bro. Robbie Vance rode too, he was on the other side. He should have sat by Kooy.

Tidal Wave. I rode next and we got on the very end. Then we went back later and they made us sit in the middle because Kooy was not tall enough to ride alone. I questioned it, and he said, "Well, my superviser is right over there so, I don't want to get in trouble." That's cool, I guess.

You should come to Boise next week. But in case you can't. I'll take lots of pics and send you some texts too. Trent, Jen, Dallon, Noah, me and maybe Kooy (I can't decide) are going up for Tay's graduation. I like Tay. He's fun.

What's going on with you. You deleted my comment I made on your facebook. That or I forgot to push enter and it never posted. You don't seem near as grumpy, that's good.

Why don't you post on your blog for me? You know. Just for fun. Is it October yet?

Love, Lisa

Grrr...I WANT TO GO TO LAGOON!! (but not near as bad as I want to go to Disneyland.) Went last summer for the first time in like eight years. It's changed a lot. But I'm pretty sure going right now would be a total waste, as I can't ride anything. I hope it's ok that I'm commenting and butting in on your conversation with Leslie. But, for the record--I'd like Leslie to update her blog too. I miss her posts.
