Okay...so all the pictures I've posted have mostly been of other people holding Peyton and I admit...you haven't been able to see him very well. Nobody complained...I noticed it myself. It's just that I didn't have too many of them. I've been intending to do a "photo shoot" with him but with mom's, brothers, sisters in law, and nephew's coming and going and one older brother to take care of I just keep putting it off. I still haven't done one up to the standard I would hope but I did get a few shots today...in between Kooyman jumping up in Peyton's face and telling him to "Say Cheese!"

Okay so my title lies. When you have a new baby the conversation that inevitably follows is who does the baby look like. And when he's a second (or third or fourth etc) everyone says he looks just the the older one. So here it is. Side by side. To be fair...Kooy is one week older in these picture. My take? Sure they look like brothers but the look totally different to me. Different nose. Different lips. Different chin. What's your take? If I had a scanner I would post pics of Matt and I too...but I don't. So I won't.

cute pictures! Don't worry we don't near as many pictures of Kyanna as we do of Will. I guess thats a second child you yah! I am glad that he is such a good baby that is nice. I hope that I can see him soon. How are you feeling?
He is SOOO handsome! I seriously want to snack on those cheeks. There's something about knowing for sure you'll never create another little human that really makes you misty when you see such perfect little people. I miss the feel of those little bodies snuggled up on my shoulder so much.
I want to hold him! Nicki and Megan's babies won't be here for a bit and I need a baby fix! Dang, you make quality people girl!

Yes, they look very much alike. It looks like Kooy had more hair though.
So Mom is going home today. How are you dealing with it? When I had Ian, Grandpa Whitney died and Mom left over a week before she was supposed to. I was sad for months. I call it the Post partum depression of '04.

I have had this on my "list of things to post" - it's so fun to see them side by side! I can totally see the similarities, but I also think they have their individual looks. So cute!
