Guess What I did This Weekend!

So we went up to Boise over Easter weekend. Tater and his wife have a new baby boy. My parents and her parents were all in town so they decided to bless the baby on Easter. It's funny to hear your youngest brother give an amazing baby blessing. Who knew he had it in him? My cousin wrote the coolest/funniest/truest blog post about Taylor. You should read it.

Emery was wearing the cutest little vest suit I've ever seen. Maybe just because it was a tiny baby is grown up clothes. That's always cute. Here's the happy, yet sleep deprived, new parents.
Here's me and my dad. I love my dad. He's fun to hang out with. And laugh at, cause he laughs along with you. Like when he was carrying his breif case and held up his glass full of Wyler's berry drink high up in the air, saying "Hey-hey!", then stumbled against the wall because he lost his balance. Tater and I just laughed and laughed and wondered what was REALLY in that Wyler's berry drink.

Or the time he posed with Ronald McDonald.
It was nice to get to see my family and not have to be the one hosting everyone. The weekend was totally laid back, we just hung around Tater's house, watched him suck up the water that had over flowed from the washing machine onto the carpet in his family room, ate the cookie dough mom made, tried to hook up all our laptops to Taylor's $3 wireless router, looked for Trent's cell phone he lost, held Emery, prepared fruit trays, watched the kids hunt eggs, ate really good food, became dehydrated, sent Gatlin home early and hoped he didn't spread germs all over to the rest of us, mom requested someone to take the initiative and put the lunch stuff away, thanked dad for taking the initiative and putting lunch away just like mom had asked him to do, questioned if it still could be counted as taking initiative, stopped in Brigham City to buy binky's and all they had were girly ones, took pictures, stopped at a rest stop to put the kids in jammies, got back on the freeway and Kooyman said he had to go to the bathroom, finished four scrapbook pages, called Matt's mom and asked her to put some Easter baskets on our front porch because the Easter Bunny came to my cousin's house and left something for all her kids and Kooy wondered where is was, ate a half bag of mini Milky Ways, and wished we could have stayed longer.

Sounds like a fun time! Your family is so close- it must be hard having everyone spread all over the place. I'm glad you got some quality time in. What a great batch of cute boys!~

Yeah so I didn't even think about how rude that was of me to put out baskets while you were here. I'm so sorry and hope that Kooy wasn't too offended!

Thanks for the shout-out...never been a link before! I'm pretty excited and I laughed so hard at your Taylor moment......you win!

A good time was had by all. Preparations were made light because of help from many. Can't help but notice there are no pictures of this happy grandma and baby or with lovely daughter. Must have been in kitchen, huh! SKW
